![]() ![]() Here are some methods I use when Bible-reading seems slow, difficult, or unimportant. It is worth meditating on them and "getting" wisdom and understanding from them, even if it is hard. It is worth mining the Scriptures and giving time to them. We should make use of the Scriptures so that we come to him with wisdom. Jesus is our "great God and Savior" (Tit. I chose to reference the "deep wells of salvation" because Paul told Timothy that the Scriptures "are able to make you wise for salvation" (1 Tim. It just happened to be work for me to get to those treasures. It is "pure Word." It's deep, rich, accomplishes what it is sent to do, and comes from the infallible, all-wise God that we serve. ![]() Please understand that I am not saying that our passage is underwhelming. ![]() I found our passage today somewhat underwhelming, so our emphasis is going to be how to draw the Word of the Lord from readings like this.
